My favourite step of doing this artwork was painting the leaves. I love my art work because my branches and the leaves.

 

Persuasive Writing

We are learning to write persuasive piece of writing to try and convince the reader our opinion. I can come up with reasons why you should buy this broken toy. It was easy to come up with reasons because the picture helped me come up with ideas.

Nga Tae

We are learning to communicate about physical characteristics in Te Reo Maori. I can identify some Maori colours. I enjoyed learning about Maori colours because I like the Maori names for the colours.

Sea Week Art

I was learning to blend colours. My favourite part of doing  this art work was painting the background because I like mixing the white and blue which made the cool light blue.  I love this artwork because I love the colours of the Jelly Fish and I liked smudging the Jelly Fish too.

Swimming

 My favourite part of our swimming lesson is swimming to the end. I find it tricky to see under water with no googles. I love swimming because its my favourite swimming place.

Looking after our Koha Garden

LI - We are learning to look after our environment by adopting a koha garden

We have been very lucky to have Mrs Robertson, the gardening guru, with us this year. We have been learning how to weed and water the garden. We also learnt how to grow vegetables from our koha garden. We grew many kinds of vegetables - kale, spinach, strawberries, tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage and more! We made kale chips and spinach dips and tried some of our vegetables fresh!
